The Great Scare Litters

These two litters have been combined, into the "Great Scare Litters" and will be named after famous horror movie villains!  These little-ones caused me a good scare here; Johanna only had three babies and then kept bleeding -- it turned out to be a uterine infection, but had me worried!  Also, Sophia who is much less mature mentally, decided that she wasn't very interested in her two kids, so I about that too.  Then, poor Johanna injured an eye somehow and there's a possibility that she may lose sight in it (though it is doing better...).  Thus - they've scared me pretty well! 

Johanna gave birth two three beautiful babies, and Sophia had two.  Johanna is raising all five, but they have been easy to tell apart.  It looks like Sophia's are both Fawn; one velveteen, one standard.  Johanna had three velveteen babies, two that look like they'll be agouti, just like momma, and one black roan.  I like to wait for a bit until I sex 'for sure' as the parts are so tiny this young!  ; )
