Widget came up pregnant right after her last litter, and (as far as I know) never escaped... it's possible that one of her sons from her last litter impregnated her (an early maturer?). Otherwise, this litter is likely sired by Squiggle -- she usually makes a bee-line for him if she gets loose. I think maybe they used ESP through the bars... ; )
Whoever "Daddy"
is can be proud; these babies are beautiful little boys &
girls with excellent personalities! I expect these babies to grow up to be very smart rats --
all babies out of Widget have grown
to be 'favorites' of their owners! They're always full of curiousity and
need their attention. Wonderful for those looking for pets!
With
the exception of a few darker agoutis, they are all pretty chocolaty looking -
like dark chocolate and their tummies are somewhat lighter, like milk chocolate
or hot cocoa mix. Some are questionable; maybe chocolate maybe black
(arguable). Breeders should probably assume these kids are
genetically black, with mink and RED dilute (grand daddy's a beige).

 CAVE Twix This girl's color is hard to define; she's probably the darkest girl, and is chocolate-grey-black in color. Very sweet and likes to cuddle Adopted |
