The Mini-Squidge Litter

I've always had a special soft spot for beige ratties (my first rat, "Ratty," was a little beige girl) and have been lucky that all the beige rats I've owned have been really wonderful, Squidge and Tamarin included.  Squidge came to the US with me from Europe; I bought him in a little shop less than a block from Notre Dame.  He's a wonderful squishy bean-bag of a rat, who just loves to cuddle and used to sleep with me in bed (before I got other animals who might hurt him when I'm not awake.)  Tamarin is a sweet girl, who is a really excellent mom, and she's absolutely beautiful!  She's actually a grand-daughter of Squidge's;  He had kids with Squink and EagleEye Rattery adopted a pair - those two had a litter that included Tamarin (and for those involved in RatsPacNW, Denise's Be'Lanna and Emily's Emergency are siblings). In addition, both parents are exceptionally healthy -- Squidge getting close to 3 years old, is still going strong, and has never been sick.

I'm really excited about this litter because I expect them all to be wonderful squishes like their dad, with a few little 'monkies' like momma.  These rats should be exceptional for both pets and show -- Daddy won Reserve of Show last year, and I expect mommy to do well in this coming year's events.  All the kids are beige; we have 5 boys (four left for adoption) and 4 girls .  In the tradition of the Squidge family, all the kids have names that start with an sq/sc/sk sound  : )
