Welcome to my page of litters, where you can see my current litters! Litters 'in the works' will also be listed here as available.

All of my breeding stock is selected for their health and personality as well as color/markings, so it's guaranteed that you'll love your Critter Cave baby!

I offer full informational support to all adopters (you can ask me all the questions you need to, at any time!) as well as life-long rehoming if needed.

Super Rescue Ratties

Rescues have unknown origins; some come from owners who no longer want them, some are from area labs, others come to me from area shelters or veterinary hospitals. 

We usually have a selection of adult rats available to pet homes.  Please email for information!

This adorable litter of six girls and two boys turned out a lovely mix of agouti and cinnamon with wonderful red/orange highlights.  All have high-gloss satin coats and should carry the great health and longevity that define Cassie's family line.  These kids are all European roan carriers and take after their parent's in activity level and personality.

Micro Machine is a calm, friendly little guy with an adventurous spirit who is physically small in size, so it is likely that these kids will stay small.  Cassie is the 'popular' girl in the ladies' cage -- all the girls get along with her and she's always hamming it up for attention with people too.  She is very loving, playful and outgoing, and an awesome mama (she even adopted two babies from another ratty).  

** We have several of these lovely agouti ladies left.  They have unusually soft "rabbit fur" tummies too!

Planned Litters & 'In the Works'

We have put DMTN Rasputin and CAVE Briar Rose together in hopes of a litter of gorgeous black babies.  Estimated birthdate is April 25, 2010.  These kids should be either sleek or velveteen and a great tarry black that should do well at show.  Both parents are very outgoing and LOVE people, but have really fun and unique attitudes - we say they're our "inner city Jersey kids".  Males from this litter will be allowed to go to single-rat pet homes (a rarity) as they may have rat-to-rat aggression once they hit 6-8 months of age, and females will only be released to experienced rat homes.  These are GREAT rats (we're breeding them for ourselves and several of our own friends who have asked), but they can be a handful as they are very independent.  If you would like to learn more, please email me.

We are also working to plan at least one more litter in the same timeframe; likely a roan litter.  If you are looking for a particular kind of rat, please email me as requests may affect which parents we select.
